Event Information
Sunny Hills High School is fortunate to have three support groups committed to excellence in education for all of the students at the school. The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) and the Korean Parent’s Association (KPA) have been active for many years, while the Sunny Hills Foundation for Education (SHFE) was founded last year by a group of parents to help raise funds to bridge the gap between low state funding and the needs of our school.
These three groups are excited to be teaming up this year to host a golf fund raiser to help the school acquire the latest in technological equipment, such as AverVision electronic document cameras and Airliner Bluetooth interactive tablets. The organizations would also like to help the school purchase and install additional campus lockers for the student body.
Electronics purchased over the last two years are currently in use and according to the teachers have had a huge positive impact, but many classrooms still lack this new technology. The proceeds from the golf fund raiser will help provide money to make these exciting tools available to many more educators here at Sunny Hills.
There are a number of ways that you can help us make this fund raiser a success. If you golf, please play in our tournament. Encourage your friends and co-workers to join you as a four-some. Our format is guaranteed fun for every skill level. Even if you are not a golfer, come to the spectacular dinner at Chomp, Rockin’ Sushi and Teppan Grill and join the silent auction excitement!
There are numerous sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals as well. Not only will your support of the event benefit the students, we will make sure the community is aware of your donation. Your support can range from sponsorships at the golf tournament to providing gift items for the silent auction.
