With 128 golfers participating, the first annual SHHS Golf Tournament was a huge success! The funds raised collectively by the Sunny Hills Foundation for Education, the PTSA, and the KPA topped $30,000 and will be used to fill techology needs in the classrooms and purchase additional lockers for the students. A portion of the proceeds will also be earmarked for the Sunny Hills Beautification Fund, which is anticipated to give the Warburton entrance a much-needed makeover

Document Cameras And Smartboards Bring High Quality Instruction to Classrooms
Generous donations from Sunny Hills parents has enabled the Foundation to purchase twenty Document Cameras and six Smartboards for our classrooms. The interactive wireless Smartboards enable teachers and students to access and display websites, run educational and design software, record, highlight, and review notes from classroom discussions, and allow students to deliver PowerPoint presentations and interact with information from their seats. |
